Regional Assembly 2026: Come and BELIEVE!
Beloved Colleagues,
Last Thursday, I spent a tremendous day with our 2026 Regional Assembly Planning Team as we continued preparing for what promises to be a meaningful and Spirit-filled Regional Assembly. The Planning Team is ALL IN!
The following day, I had the opportunity to tour the campus where we will gather for Regional Assembly 2026. I left with an even greater sense of excitement and anticipation for what God is preparing for us.
This year’s Regional Assembly will be hybrid, creating opportunities for both in-person and online participation. We are intentionally creating space for business, learning, fellowship, worship, and connection so that our entire region can participate.
Here’s What’s Ahead
Thursday, October 1 | 6 pm Central/ 7 pm Eastern
💻 Regional Business Meeting — Worship and Work Online
Our gathering will begin Thursday evening with our online Regional Business Meeting.
Friday, October 2
📚 Clergy Ethics Workshops beginning at 10 am
🎉Fellowship Gathering with BBQ, music, and friends beginning 5:30-7:45 pm, United Christian Church
Throughout the day, we will have opportunities to learn, grow, build relationships, and share in the joy of being together as a regional community at United Christian Church and Divine Word Ministries in Country Club Hills, IL
Saturday, October 3
🙏🏾 Worship & Installation
On Saturday, we will gather for worship and my official installation as Regional Minister. It will be a particularly meaningful day as we celebrate what God has done and look with faith toward what God is yet to do.
Saturday will also mark one year since my election as Regional Minister. What a journey it has been!
This past year has been filled with new relationships, new challenges, new opportunities, and countless reminders of God’s faithfulness. It will be a joy to mark this significant milestone with the congregations, clergy, leaders, and friends of our region as we celebrate where we have been, give thanks for where we are, and look with faith toward where God is leading us next.
COME AND BELIEVE
Our theme for Regional Assembly 2026 is an invitation to come with open hearts and expectant spirits to believe in what God is doing among us and to trust where the Spirit is leading us.
Regional Assembly will also provide an important opportunity to look toward the future Living Waters Region. As we move toward becoming one covenant community, we are entering a new season of ministry, mission, relationship, and possibility.
Come and believe in what God is doing among us.
Come and believe in what God is calling us to become.
Come and believe in the future of the Living Waters Region.
I am deeply grateful for the 2026 Regional Assembly Planning Team and for everyone who is giving their time, gifts, creativity, and energy to prepare for this gathering. Their commitment is evident, and I am grateful to be serving alongside people who are truly ALL IN!
I believe Regional Assembly 2026 will be more than a gathering. It will be an opportunity to worship together, learn together, reconnect with one another, celebrate where we have been, and boldly imagine where God is leading us next.
