A Pastoral Word from Dr. Crowder: Storm Damage Across the Region

Dear Disciples,

My heart and prayers are with communities across Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, and throughout the Midwest as we navigate the aftermath of severe storms, damaging winds, and flooding—while some communities remain under a continuing storm threat.

I am especially mindful of those whose homes and communities have been damaged, those experiencing power outages or displacement, and all who are facing the challenges of recovery and rebuilding.

Week of Compassion has been notified and is prepared to assist as needs are identified.

If you have been affected by these storms, please let us know. We want to know how you are doing and how we can support you and your community in the days ahead.

May God strengthen those who are hurting, sustain those who are serving, and guide the work of recovery and rebuilding. 🙏

Rev. Dr. William E. Crowder, Jr.

Regional Minister and President
