Tom Yang, Minister for NAPAD congregations shared a recent update on the NAPAD congregations of the future Living Waters Region.
The recent Korean Disciples Convocation, hosted with gracious hospitality by Chicago Christian Church (a NAPAD congregation), was a meaningful gathering.
The event was a powerful testament to the strong collaboration and shared commitment of Korean Disciples pastors and congregations, who united with a deep sense of purpose and fellowship.
While we celebrate this powerful display of unity, we also acknowledge a fearful reality that shadowed the event. We grieve that a significant number of our sisters and brothers were unable to join us due to concerns regarding their immigration status. The current political climate, and the fear it instills around interstate travel for some, remains a painful burden that members of our communities continue to bear.
