Tuesday August 17 and Wednesday, August 18.
Elena Huegel, DOC/UCC missionary will be travelling to Moline to tell about the work taking place is San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.
Her visit will begin on the evening of Tuesday, August 17 with a missionary potluck dinner 5:30 pm. at Hope United Church of Christ in Moline, Illinois. (3324 41st St, Moline, IL 61265) Beverage will be provided.
The event will continue on Wednesday morning, at First Congregational Church UCC, Moline, at 10:00 am. We will meet in the downstairs dining room. (2201 7th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265)
Elena Huegel, a mission co-worker with the Intercultural Research and Studies Institute (INESIN). will address the group. The Rev. Eli Rolon Jeong ,Associate Regional Minister for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Illinois and Wisconsin has agreed to respond to the address and guide questions and answers.
