Staff and directors are diligently working to create a safe and exciting camping experience at Camp Walter Scott. We remain hopeful yet cautious about how our programming will look like this summer. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will be implementing new cleaning and safety procedures to ensure a healthy environment and lower the risk of transmission. But even with strict new cleaning and safety procedures in place, overnight camps might be deemed too risky by local and national health officials and experts. We are preparing and looking at different opportunities as we await guidelines from the Illinois Department of Health and the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. In the meantime, we would like for you to give us some feedback on what might be of interest for you and your camper(s), especially if camps were to look somewhat different this time around.
