As the Executive Committee for the Regional Church Council, we write to announce the coming retirement of the Rev. Scott Woolridge after thirty-one years of service to our Regional Church, most as Associate Regional Minister.
Scott will work part-time for us starting Oct. 1 and complete his ministry on Dec. 31. A plan to celebrate his generative, life-giving ministry is complicated by Covid-19. However, we will find a way!
In the meantime, if you would like to contribute to a gift for Rev. Woolridge, please send it to the regional office made out to CCIW. Please mark in the memo line—retirement gift for Scott. You can also go to our website cciwdisciples.org through Givelify to make a gift online.
Respectfully,
Marla McElroy, Moderator
Rev. Keela Neumann, Moderator-Elect
Rev. Kelly Ingersoll, Past Moderator
Philip “Kip” Hayden, Secretary
Rev. Hank Anderson, Treasurer
Rev. Bill Kerns, At Large
Rev. Dr. Teresa Dulyea-Parker
Congratulations, Scott. I enjoyed working with you while I worked in the Regional Office Many blessings to you and your family!

Hi Fay ..
Glad to see your note. Have lost track of you once I went to interim in Missouri. I believe I heard you had moved out of state (out East?) to be near family. Would love to hear from you and how you are doing.
Herb
Thank you, Fay! I have so many good memories of our time on staff together. Blessings to you and yours!
WHAT!!!??!!! There’s no way you’re old enough to retire, Scott. In my mind, you are still that energetic and inquisitive kid in my CYF group in Edinburg.
31 years of service to CCIW is both remarkable and awesome. I was blessed to share ten of them with you on our staff team.
You are going to love retirement!! Herb
Thanks, Herb! That high school kid from Edinburg has had a great run with CCIW – I’m so thankful. I’m grateful for the 10 years we shared on staff – high energy, lots of learning. We built great capacity for ministry throughout the Regional church. The next phase for me will include serving a local congregation as an interim minister. Looking forward to it. Blessings to you and Duff!
Congratulations, Scott! From a voice out of the past.
