Ms. Betty Murillo, Director of the Dumaguete Kalauman Center for Development in the Philippines, will give a presentation at First Christian Church in Pekin, IL. The Kalauman Center is part of the Global Ministries Child and Elder Sponsorship Program. Betty has visited churches around the U.S. in conjunction with her participation in the UCC General Synod in June, and the Disciples General Assembly in July. I will be traveling with Betty in Illinois and look forward to meeting you as well. You and your guests are very welcome to attend and hear about the great work the Kalauman Center is doing with children and families in Dumaguete, Philippines!
