Rev. Lee Hull Moses will be joining the staff of the General Minister and President’s office in Indianapolis in 2019 as chief of staff. Hull Moses is currently senior minister at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Greensboro, NC, where she has pastored since 2009.

General Minister and President Terri Hord Owens says, “Lee has demonstrated her gifts for creative transformative leadership across the Church, as a pastor, board member, author and treasured colleague. As we work to establish the OGMP as a source of thought leadership for the wider church, she will be a valued colleague and partner. I am delighted that she has accepted this call for ministry.”

Hull Moses earned her bachelor’s degree at Albion College in Michigan and her masters from the University of Chicago Divinity School. She has since also completed coursework for an executive certificate in religious fund raising and is in the process of earning a certificate in nonprofit management.

In addition to her academic work, Hull Moses is the author or co-author of three books as well as a contributor to The Christian Century among other publications. She has also served on the boards of the North Carolina Council of Churches and the Disciples Divinity House at the University of Chicago.

Hull Moses and her husband Robert have two children, Harper and Jonathan.
