“Discernment is living life prayerfully,
bringing oneself to God as honestly and
completely as possible,
seeking guidance as openly as possible,
and then in faith,
responding as fully as possible.”
Gerald May, *Addiction and Grace*, Chapter 8
Are you finding yourself thinking about your relationship with God? Perhaps you’re feeling a yearning within to commit yourself to deeper listening to what God might be inviting in your life. Maybe you’ve even thought that the invitation might be to some form of ministry within the church. If this sounds familiar, or if this sparks a place within you, please consider joining us for a time of intentional discernment, in community with others, seeking to know what God may be inviting in our lives. Join us in January for a time of deep listening.

I might be interested in this, but might not want to pastor a church. I just like learning! I was a commissioned minister about 10 years ago so I’ve had a mentor etc before. Is there such a thing as a commissioned-minister-in-waiting? Like could I do commissioned minister things without serving a church?
Thanks,
Sue Adams
