We are encouraging New Church/Ministries with the support of the Rev. Jeff Zimmerman and the Rev. Dr. Tom Yang who is our CCIW North American, Asian Pacific Disciples minister. Korean house churches, story-telling/gardening/meet in the local pub churches, dinner churches, Chicago south side meeting in the safe zones churches are among our newest Disciple communities.
On Saturday, there will be a workshop led by Jeff, Tom and Rebecca Anderson—new church planter for Gilead Chicago. And, Rev. Anderson will be our Saturday afternoon preacher—Gilead style.
Plus, at our Friday evening worship we will have the honor of having Traditional Korean Dancers to help us celebrate our NAPAD ministry.
