Welcome Grace Myanmar Christian Church

Grace Myanmar is now officially listed as a congregation in formation in CCIW. Rev. Joseph Thwan began developing this congregation in 2011. The congregation’s praise band provided worship music at one of our regional assemblies. For a long time they nested in First Christian Church of Moline and Rev. Thwan was mentored by Rev. Beth Rupe. One of the ministries of the congregation is maintaining a free school to teach Burmese culture, history, and language to children in their community. Many Burmese immigrate to the U.S. to escape persecution. The New Church/Ministries Team welcomes Grace Myanmar CC and recognizes that they have been traveling with us these past seven years.
