Free SALT Social Media Calendar!

By September 18, 2017No Comments

This we know for sure: the whole social media world can make your head spin.

Virtually every vibrant organization today has a social media strategy. What does this mean for your church? What should you say? How often should you say it? What works? What doesn’t? What’s the best way forward?

Over here at SALT, we get these questions so often we decided to create a shiny new resource – and, as a sign of our gratitude to you (our lovely SALT community!), we’ve decided to make this resource available for FREE.

Drum-roll, please! With thanks and celebration, we hereby present to you SALT’s free 52 Week Done-for-You Social Media Calendar for Churches. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed putting it together!

This free calendar will help you take another step toward creating an even more engaging, supportive, and thriving online community for your congregation and the broader community.

Since the calendar is done-for-you, it’ll make posting content on a regular basis a simple, streamlined, creative process. What’s more, since the calendar’s already lined up with the liturgical cycle of seasons and holidays, you’ll have the perfect quote or caption for every occasion. Each week includes social media posts that are inspirational, funny, challenging, provocative and community-building.

Here are your first 3 steps to getting started:

  1. Click here to download the calendar. The introduction includes a quick list of tips and tricks for making the most of it.
  2. Schedule out your posts using the Facebook page scheduler (free) or a social media scheduler like HootSuite (free) or Buffer.
  3. Check out our Clip Art and Customizable Short Films for pairing with your social media posts to make them stand out even more (our clip art also makes for lovely profile pictures!).

Community today takes many forms, and online community is one of them. Bottom line: the more vibrant your online presence, the more vibrant your congregation will be.

So again, thank you for your ministry.  Thank you for your leadership.  Thank you for loving the world back to life through preaching, praying, leading, and serving.  And thank you for being a part of the SALT community!

Enjoy the calendar!
