The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Illinois and Wisconsin is looking for nominees for the CCIW Disciple of Merit award to be given at our Regional Assembly Oct. 21-22, 2016. The Disciple of Merit award is the highest honor given by CCIW in recognition of outstanding service to congregation, region and the general church. Retired clergy and lay leaders of any age are eligible. The Regional Executive Committee chooses the recipients. Recent recipients have been Rev. Burley and Martha Herrin, Rev. Dwight Bailey, Rev. Nancy Stump, Eddie Evans Griffin, Rev. Neil and Rev. Dorothy Sallee.
