Celebrating Disciples Creativity and the Arts

In this issue, you’ll learn about the way Disciples Women are making art and transforming lives as they create. Features will include a “collage” of women artists, a look at Quadrennial Assembly bags and the global sisters behind them, and an exploration of how Disciples churches use art in their worship, outreach, and spiritual formation ministries. This issue will also include stories from the 2015 Women-to-Woman Worldwide journey to the Middle East.  (A four-session study guide will be available as a free download.)

“The Table and Beyond: Lavish Hospitality in the Bible”

This year marks the third year of our Bible study issue written by Disciples women for Disciples women under the Just Women banner. This eight-session study will explore texts that teach about hospitality the biblical way. Studies can be used on their own or in a series, by groups or individuals.  We have re-ordered and sold out previous Bible study issues of Just Women.   To ensure availability of copies for your group, place your advance order in the Disciples Women online store no later than Jan. 19, 2016.
