PRINCETON — After nearly 150 years at its present site, the First Christian Church in Princeton is moving its congregation to a temporary home.
Located at 125 S. Main St., the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, will have a final, farewell service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the church, with the public invited to attend the special service. The church congregation will move on Oct. 5 to its new temporary location at the Nelson Chapel, 446 Elm Place, Princeton. Services at the new building will remain the same with Sunday School to begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a 10:30 a.m. worship service..
