Job Description
Mark Behle has served with Global Ministries for 29 years. He serves with the Lesotho Evangelical Church in Southern Africa. He works with the church in Maseru as planning officer. He assists the church with identifying and coordinating projects of the church as well as working with the Planning Commission in developing policy and terms of reference for church bodies, looking at church structure and other issues to improve the overall work and function of the denomination. This has been a joint appointment by the Common Global Ministries Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the United Church of Christ, and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Mark enjoys speaking during sermon time, sharing stories of his life in Lesotho. Mark will have a Power Point presentation of his work with time for talking and answering questions.

Please make sure to include the Church Name and City, as well as the dates you would like to request.
We would consider any Sunday in October or during the week if that would work out better. Wednesday night works fairly well because we have youth group and Bible study then and we are always looking for an excuse to have a carry-in dinner. We are interested to find out things like probable cost. We have people in the congregation who can provide housing and we can provide local transportation. We look forward to hearing more details from you. I went through South Africa on my way to speak at a woman’s health conference in Botswana.
We just had a Global Ministries intern from Armenia here May 7th.
