“As a church body we need to pray. Pray for those infected by the coronavirus in China and around the world, for those who care for them, for health specialists and authorities who are combatting the spread of infection, and of course for all who at this time are feeling anxious,” offers Linda Manns, a parish nurse at Louden Avenue Christian Church in Roanoke, VA. National Benevolent AssociationWeek of Compassion and the Office of General Minister and President offer this statement to the whole Church followed by some useful links to a variety of resources.

Also available is this “Words to the Wise” column about planning communication for your congregation in a variety of situations.

Our congregation (First Christian Church (DOC) of Creve Coeur, IL) will be in prayer for all infected and affected by the Corona Virus, locally, nationally, and globally. We will also be discussing precautions, education, and options concerning this disease. Thank you for lifting it up to the attention of your readers. – Pastor Dwight Winnett
