DOES YOUR CHURCH WANT TO RESPOND TO DISASTERS

Local churches and members can respond to the current disasters in helpful ways that have impact over the long haul.

Here are several suggestions:

  •  Begin assembling cleanup buckets, health kits or school kits. Attached is the description of items in each kit and how kits were distributed in 2016.  To complete a kit, assemble with exactly the items as listed.
  • Collect cash donations and forward them through the Illinois-Wisconsin Region marked for disaster response.
  • Report the kits you have assembled using the contact below – arrangements will be made to collect kits, especially those to be delivered by a Mission Trip Team to the CWS Disaster Assistance Center in Little Rock, AR.  (We are collecting completed kits at our Regional Office—401 W. Jefferson St, Bloomington, IL
  • Or sign up to be part of the Mission Trip Team – information and a registration form is attached.

Our help will be needed for many months – do what you can – it will make a difference!  Thank you.
