Pastor Nina Nestlerode is organizing a flash mob of Disciples to work in a farm field near Washington, IL cleaning up debris for our Regional Assembly mission project. Please contact her at (309) 338-6972 or [email protected]. Below is more information you will need. (You don’t have to be registered for the Assembly to take part in this mission project, or Friday night worship, or Saturday afternoon worship)

“We will be helping Bob & Allison Montgomery.

He welcomes a group of volunteers on Saturday the 11th.

The work is weather permitting, since it is on dirt fields. It sounds well-coordinated with marked territory, using buckets for pick-up to several dumpsters.

Volunteers should bring: work gloves, gardening knee pads, work boots (protection from nails, siding, etc.) and a water bottle. (5 gallon water containers will be available.)

The volunteer meeting location that morning will be at 1322 N. Main St, Washington, very near the Crossroads UMC. (Field is located at Main St & Kruger.)
