Important News regarding Disciple Women’s Fall Retreat.
Sisters and Colleagues from around Illinois and Wisconsin, we invite you to join us and retreat leaders the Reverend Mary Runge and the Reverend Linda Hunsaker at this year’s fantastic retreat to be held at Camp Walter Scott. We have an extended deadline and you may register online or by mail. Registrations should be postmarked with registration and payment into the CCIW Regional Office by September 18, 2014.
As we move closer to the retreat date, September 26-28, you are encouraged to check the CCIW website and e-news for important information. When you register you will receive a welcome email on September 19 with pertinent information about the Retreat. Please pay special attention in this email to the Housing Information as housing at Camp Walter Scott offers several unique options and will be assigned on a First Come- First Serve Basis. If you do not have email, a letter will be mailed to you and you will be contacted by phone to discuss your housing preferences.
To help you decide on an accommodation preference please be aware that housing accommodations at Camp Walter Scott are as follows: two Cabins top and bottom bunks), the Retreat House (top and bottom bunks), and the Upstairs Loft in the dining hall (you will need a sleeping bag and YOUR air-mattress). You may also make your own Reservation at any hotel in Effingham (No Regional Room Block or Rate). When you receive your email, please be sure to respond to the Retreat Task Force as soon as possible as housing requests will be honored if possible but will be assigned by order of when request was received.
