Each year in November the Disciples of Christ Church celebrates the historic relationship it has with our 14 colleges and universities and 7 theological schools by receiving an offering designated for our institutions of higher education. The income from this Special Offering will be added to the regular funds that go to our schools from the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). This year the interpretation and promotion of this Special Offering has been transferred from Higher Education and Leadership Ministries to the Council of Colleges and Universities of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). With the leadership of the staff from Bethany College and Lexington Theological Seminary we have produced resources that will go to Disciples congregation all across the United States. One illustration of these resources is listed here so that you may be aware of how this Special Offering is promoted on behalf of our college or university.
