ATiiM Gathering

Greetings,

This is a reminder our next ATiiM gathering is Thursday, September 5 @ 10:00.

We meet at the regional office of the Christian Church in Illinois & Wisconsin – 1011 North Main Street Bloomington, IL.

Remember to bring a sacked lunch!!!

Paul Pryor will lead our program. He will discuss the book, Grace for the Journey by Beverly A. & George B. Thompson, Jr.

We are still in need of someone to lead devotions. Any volunteers?

If you have not received information concerning the annual retreat at Starved Rock please contact Dave Knicker.

I look forward to seeing you in September.

Peace,

Larry

ATiiM Annual Conference

Attached is conference information for the ATiiM 22nd Annual Conference at Starved Rock and registration form.

ATiiM2013Brochure  ATiiM2013RegistrationForm

This year’s conference featuring Rev. Anthony B. Robinson presents the theme: “Changing the Conversation: A Third Way for Congregations” based on Tony’s book of the same title. Because the theme focuses on conversations about differences (liberal conservative, traditional/contemporary, etc.) in the life of a congregation we are offering the discounted option for clergy to invite a lay leader from a congregation to also attend the conference.

Registration can be accomplished in two ways:  1) complete the attached registration form and mail with a check payable to CCIW at the address indicated; or 2) go to www.ilucc.org and register and make payment with a credit card online.  Call Starved Rock Lodge and reserve a room (or call an area motel as noted on the brochure.

Here is a link to the online registration:

We hope to see you again this fall – all the same features: great keynote speaker, great location, bookstore, good fellowship and food, and opportunity for taking in the beauty of Starved Rock.
