Disciple Women's Ministry Fund-raiser:
The CCIW Disciples Women’s Cabinet initiated a fund-raiser this year to provide
financial support for the Gathering and other Regional Women’s Events. T-shirts
have been printed with the theme, “Listening for God’s Voice” and are for sale
at $8.00 per shirt. They are available in sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large,
and 2X Large. For more information, see the Flyer.

Program materials for General Meetings of Disciples Women are available from the
Office of Disciples Women website: www.discipleswomen.org Click on "General Programs" on the
right side of the screen; then scroll down to the listing of General Programs. There are several
programs available at this time: Easter 2008, Mission on Haiti, an Environment Program, the Installation
program for 2007. There is also a Blessing Box Dedication Program. You may print these free from the website.

Ecumenical Bible Study Available - An ecumenical bible study, Jubilee! Luke's Gospel for the
Poor has been written by Dale Lindsay Morgan, with Suggestions for Leaders by Louise Lawson
Johnson, as part of the Presbyterian Women's Horizons materials. It is recommended as an
alternative study for Disciples Women or for congregational bible study groups. It is available in
the ecumenical edition from the CCIW Regional office for $6.00 per copy plus postage. Contact
Beth Zumwalt if you would like to purchase copies for your women’s group or a bible study group

Coming in January, 2009 !
is the new Disciples Women magazine which will replace the current New Day
Disciples Women booklet. Christian Board of Publication will no longer publish the New Day
Disciples Women resources. DisciplesWorld, Inc., our denominational magazine, will be publishing a
resource for our Disciples Women and the new is the venue chosen by the
International Disciples Women’s Ministries (IDWM) and DisciplesWorld, Inc. editorial staff.

will be a full-color, 32-page magazine published quarterly—in January, April, July,
and October—reflecting the quality and diversity of Disciples women. The entire Spring issue will
