RECOGNIZING GOD’S CALL TO LIVE AS A PRO-RECONCILING CHURCH:
An Anti-Racism Training
In light of the uproar that has occurred in our country since the deaths of young African Americans in Missouri, Maryland, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas and the senseless Idling of the worshipers in South Carolina; the church recognizes the urgency for creating an atmosphere of engagement to address these issues of racial disharmony.
You are invited to join peace makers in a 2 1/2 day workshop on October 30 November 1 for a time of discerning and recognizing “God’s Call”. This event will engage us in elements of racism as a destructive force in our society and churches. It will help us to understand the roles we live out, unintentionally, as we live in this culture.
Historically the church has led in stimulating the consciousness of our society and points it to a world where peace is outcome. Come let us discern the call.
